You are given 4 cards and the target number of 5. Use each of the other cards once to get 5. You may use +, -, x or /. You can play this game with exponents and roots too. 1-2-3 OY! comes with instructions for nine other games. 1-2-3 OY! improves mental arithmetic & builds confidence-- (and encourages teamwork when used with teams in a classroom setting.) The cards range from zero to sixteen (5 of each), and the deck includes five wild OY! cards--for a total of 90 cards. In addition to the numeral, the face of each card has a colorful drawing that shows the value of the card; even very young children can use these cards to learn about number in a game setting. By varying the range of cards used and the operations permitted-- addition, subtraction, multiplication and division-- parents and teachers can tailor the game to different ability levels.
